Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Tanja Reichert grew up exploring nature in the Pacific Northwest. Leading much imagination and creativity. She was taken with theater at an early age performing original material with siblings and friends. The big turning point came in high school; a friend introduced her to the region's leading youth acting program, the Vancouver Youth Theatre. An agent signed her immediately after her first class. Tanja continued to work in the theater's intensive program; where she co-wrote original material and toured. Roles in TV and film followed very quickly.

Tanja has appreared in such movies as Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang playing opposite Robert Downey Jr., Legally Blonde 2 as Reese Witherspoon Delta-Nu sister, Chef Kelly in the Broken Lizard Club Dread, Universal Head Over Heels as Freddie Prince Jr. undercover FBI partner and in Miramax/Disney's highly successful horror spoof cult hit Scary Movie with the Wayans brothers. Tanja had an interesting challenge playing both a present day character and a period character simultaneously as two of the leading roles in the feature film The Meeksville Ghost, starring Judge Reinhold, shot on location in South Africa.

In MY Network TV's Wicked, Wicked Games, Tanja stars alongside Academy Award winner Tatum O'Neal as Jennifer Harrison. She had the pleasure of appearing on ABC's Desperate Housewives playing opposite Eva Longoria. Tanja plays Gabrielle's modeling friend from New York. Tanja's first series regular role was that of Karen Petrusky on the show Relic Hunter opposite Tia Carrerre. Tanja's other notable television series credits include guest starring roles on Francis Ford Coppola's sci-fi series for the Space Network, First Wave, and on the popular CBS's series C.S.I. Miami.
